ACADEMIC PROFILE
During my tertiary level I was exposed in different approaches in Social Work
such as strength base or developmental approach, structural approach, and
coats political economy approach. I acquired different intervention skills. During
fourth year level, and I specialized in victim empowerment, where I did rape crisis,
domestic violence Act Trauma debriefing, which is based on normalization to
victims of crime. Lastly I learnt a lot on the Model in Social Work practice, such as
family prevention model.
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
According to University regulation I was a compelled to do practical work on
different methods of Social Work, namely Case work, Group and Community
work. During my first year level, I did a voluntary work at Eben- Donges Hospital
in Worcester. In my second year level I did Community work in Valhalla
Park,Community and Group work at Delft Primary school .In third year level I did
Case work and Group work at Kathkin high school in Cape Town. During fourth
year level I did research, casework and group work at Social Development in
Worcester.
