Giovanna Chalkiopoulou has extensive experience in dance education and performance. She holds a degree in Sociology from Panteion University in Athens and a teaching diploma in classical and modern dance. Her work experience includes teaching dance to children in Athens from 2013 to 2015. She also has experience assisting with Pilates exercises in Athens in 2015. Currently residing in London, she has participated in dance performances there in 2015 and 2016.

Dramatic mezzo-soprano Kara Laus is a budding artist and Pittsburgh native who makes her professional debut upon receiving her B.M. of Performance in Voice from Duquesne University.
In her five years of opera performance, Ms. Laus has appeared at Duquesne as la Zelatrice and la Badessa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and covered la Principessa; in her early career she performed the Sorceress in Purcell’s Dido and Aneas, Baba in Menotti’s The Medium, Constance in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Sorcerer, and Gertrude in Humperdink’s Hansel and Gretel, and covered Cherubino in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.
Ms. Laus has appeared frequently in Pittsburgh and internationally with the studio of her teacher, Guenko Guechev, most recently presenting concerts in Rome and Florence, Italy. A prolific concert singer and recitalist, she has performed such works as Orff’s Carmina Burana, Handel’s Messiah, Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, de Victoria’s Missa O Magnum Misterium, Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder, and De Falla’s 7 Canciones Populares Españoles.
