- 15. Pedagogy is simplydefined as the science and art of teaching young learners. It includes large repertoire of teaching methods, instructional strategies, teaching approaches, and teaching techniques. Teachers are curriculum and instructional leaders.
- 16. Possessing high levelof pedagogical knowledge can bring the spark of the magic of learning inside the classroom. Teachers should know different instructional planning models that consider the unique characteristics and needs of young children from the various cultures and socio-economic background. With the implementation of the K-12 Curriculum, teachers need to know how to utilize the desired pedagogical approaches for the implementation of the new curriculum. Some of these pedagogical approaches are the constructivist teaching approaches, ICT integration, integrative teaching and learning, learner-centered strategies, and standards-based teaching and learning approaches.
- 17. In the fieldof education, technology is making all information accessible for the teachers and learners. Technology is an important tool for teaching and learning. It is important that teachers should be technologically literate and can integrate technology in their teaching and learning.

Classroom management is now one of the major concerns of public and private school teachers. o Classroom rules should be established and a system for rewarding positive behavior should be developed and implemented. o Since teachers are not supposed to use corporal punishment in disciplining learners, an efficient handling learners’ unwanted behavior inside the class should be developed. It is also important for teachers to develop “caring attitude” in dealing with the learners especially with young children. Hence, it is imperative that teachers should possess loving attitude to all types of learners.

In CONSTRUCTIVIST APPROACH, it is important that we know as teachers (in the future) , where our students are coming from but NOT to judge them , but be able to provide the suitable learning environment for them to discover what needed to be learned and un-learned. Integrative Teaching and Learning – it is the THEMATIC TEACHING or theme that helps students to see the meaningful connections across disciplines and learning.

So diri na gasulod ang use of technologies as a tool in teaching, use of laptop, projector, tv, powerpoint presentation, video presentation that can help teachers to catch the attention of their learners.
- #19 Teachers should know how to improvise or develop local materials for instruction since many schools do not have enough facilities and instructional materials especially those in local communities, inang sa mga bukid bala o malayo na sa sibilisasyon, so the teachers must be creative sa kung ano lang ang availbale nga material instruction nga pwedi nya gamiton. Because INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS / EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES are important to improve student’s knowledge , abilities, and skills, o monitor their assimilation of information , and to contribute to their overall development and upbringing.
- #20 This means that teachers should be able to understand learners’ behavior and how to manage it. It is important for the teachers to plan on how to handle learners’ behavior and characteristics. Corporal Punishment – There is a need to for teachers to develop positive attitudes in handling young children. Teachers just not teach the content but they help to develop positive self-esteem and self concept. Teachers are also building relationship inside the classroom with him or her students.
