7. - Acquiring Docker Enterprise Technology Platform and all associated IP: Docker
Enterprise Engine, Docker Trusted Registry, Docker Universal Control Plane and
Docker CLI.
- Inheriting all Docker Enterprise customers and contracts(750+), as well as its
strategic technology alliances and partner programs.
- Docker will now focus on Docker Desktop, its container developer IDE and
platform, Docker Hub, a service for finding and sharing container images &
Docker Compose.

8. - Mirantis and the newly acquired Docker Enterprise team will continue to develop
and support Docker Enterprise
- Together, Mirantis and Docker will work on core, upstream open-source
technology
- Mirantis is planning to support Docker Swarm for next 3 years in their Enterprise
Offerings
- Mirantis goal is to deliver Kubernetes-as-a-Service with a consistent experience
for developers on any cloud and On-premise infrastructure.
