2. Architect Renzo Piano is known for his broad
range of iconic projects around the world. Piano's
architecture exhibits a sensitivity to the
environment, attention to the user experience, and
futuristic design. He delights in solving problems
of space and continuity with an intelligence that ,
for many people, has a brewing period of aesthetic
familiarity- sometimes the exterior of the building
is at first jarring to the general public. His
interiors, however, and consolidation of spaces
have made Piano and his team one of the most
sought-after architectural firms of the 21st century.
3. “If you have total freedom , then you are in trouble.
It’s much better when you have some obligations,
some discipline, some rules. When you have no rules,
then start to build your own rules.”
-Renzo Piano
4. “when you are in front of a piece of art ,its about the
untold; its about something almost mysterious. There
is something coming out, something that causes you to
dream or think in a different way. Art and beauty
switches on a spatial light in your eyes.you think
differently almost meandering. That is why art makes
people better. It makes people more curious, more
demanding. And that’s what is more interesting about
the museum: just as art makes people better, a building
for art makes a city a better place to live .”
-Renzo Piano
