Daisy Culanag is a senior estimator with over 24 years of experience in construction cost estimating. She has extensive experience performing estimates for all 16 CSI divisions of construction for projects involving new construction, renovations, and remediation across various types. For the current project, Daisy will help develop and reconcile estimates, perform cost analyses, establish budgets, and track budget changes. Desideria (Daisy) Culanag has 24 years of experience as a
construction estimator and has performed detailed cost estimates
for all 16 CSI divisions of construction. She has prepared estimates
for new construction, renovations, defect remediation and
buildings damaged by earth movement, wind, fire, explosion,
water and civil unrest. She has also performed architectural,
structural, electrical, mechanical, landscaping, civil and Utilities
quantity take-offs, prepared quantity take-off sheets and priced
charts of account. She has performed cost comparisons and cost
analyses. Her specialized computer skills include Publisher,
Estimating Database, On-Screen Take-Off, Estimating Digitizer,
Delta CAD, MS Visual FoxPro, MC2, Timberline, and Success
Estimator. She is fluent in English and Tagalog, with a working
knowledge of Spanish.
For the project, Daisy will contribute to the development and
reconciliation of project estimates. She will apply her knowledge
of contractor, designer-provided and third-party estimates, with
an emphasis on reducing budget risk and improving project
delivery. She will also perform cost comparisons and cost analyses.
Daisy will help establish the baseline budget, define and develop
activity budgets and track, evaluate and verify changes to the
established budget. Daisy will also apply her skills in developing
and maintaining current cost databases indexed to the specific
geographical project area, as well as working with industry cost
databases.

The Metro Gold Line Light Rail Transit System will be expanded 24
miles east from the City of Pasadena to the City of Montclair,
California. It will be built in two segments. Hill was commissioned
to provide Phase 2A Program Management Consulting services.
The objective will be a cost-effective program of services along
with a work plan that will provide the Authority with the required
staff to support and integrate with the Authority's personnel.
Daisy serves as an estimator for the project.
Port of Los Angeles (POLA) Wilmington Waterfront Park and
Harry Bridges Boulevard Street Improvements, Los Angeles, CA,
Estimator
As part of the continued POLA area waterfront and community
improvements, enhancements were made to the Wilmington area
north of the Port. The Wilmington Waterfront Park (formerly
known as Harry Bridges Boulevard Improvements) Project creates
a 30-acre environmentally focused community buffer with
significant recreational areas, vistas and development
opportunity. It will also eventually host a trolley line extension
along the north side of the boulevard, creating a multi-use
transportation corridor. Hill is assisting the construction
management consultant for the project with scheduling and
claims consulting services. As estimator, Daisy works on Requests
for Qualification (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) for the
project.
Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies, Spring Training

Hill is providing on-call construction management and project
controls Services for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado
Rockies new spring training facility. The state-of-the-art facility will
be located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community
adjacent to the City of Scottsdale, Arizona. The facility will include
an 11,000-seat ballpark, 12 replica and practice fields and related
buildings that will include Major and Minor League signature
clubhouses, training facilities and offices for each team. Daisy
