?
CSSD is abbreviated by Central Sterile Supply department
.
Reusable items must be thoroughly cleaned, inspected, disinfected and Sterilized before
they can be used to treat other patients. The Department in a healthcare facility which is
responsible for these reprocessing activities

?

organisms or other harmful substances to an acceptable level
