My name is DS, today I will build on what Gordon has said and discuss how we have re thought how services will be delivered with the HP MS CSP
every regional government in the world has missions, we think these will apply to most of your Councils. To meet the objectives are come challenges
To meet the challenges new priorities are required, some are listed here and of course there are many more, In the light of the recent Conservatives Libdem announcements these will apply more than ever
A good example of disjointed business processes is a council tax bill addressed to a deseased citizen because the information hasn’t been sent to the revenue department. Very damaging.
So what is the HP MS CSP what does it deliver?

We have to live in the real world, we must leverage value from key back office systems, often the only ones that are maintained by the vendors to keep pace with legislative changes. We also believe it’s important to envision the art of the possible with our customers so that the roadmap to optimal systems can be planned
So what does the HP CSP look like? Leveraging technology standardisation in partnership with existing investments = joined up services The core MS technology is MS CRM and Sharepoint, all the partner apps have been built to run and collaborate in the MS environment. Clearly this is not a prescriptive model and we expect this model to vary where alternative investments have been made and these may stay or be phased out over time.
Gordon mentioned before the CSP is a global initiative enriched by partner/ community solutions. We will work with governments all over the world and therefore best practise, architectural governess and compatibility are paramount for the greater good. But ultimately its all about outcomes …..
