In wireless system allocation is a necessary purpose and show industry expensive dependability in message protocol design. In multihop wireless networks, equally, imposition by a node by reason of immediate transmissions as its neighbors makes it nontrivial to graph a minimum-latency transmit algorithm, which is known to be NP-complete. A simple ballpark figure algorithm for the one-to-all transmit problem that improves all previously documented guarantees for this problem. In All-to-all transmit problem where every node sends its own consequence to all complementary nodes. In the all-to-all transmit problem, we current two algorithms with ballpark figure ratios of 20 and 34, civilizing the greatest result. An Adaptive Routing Algorithm for Communication Networks using Back Pressure...IJMER
The basic idea of backpressure techniques is to prioritize transmissions over links that have
the highest queue differentials. Backpressure method effectively makes packets flow through the network
as though pulled by gravity towards the destination end, which has the smallest queue size of zero. Under
high traffic conditions, this method works very well, and backpressure is able to fully utilize the available
network resources in a highly dynamic fashion. Under low traffic conditions, however, because many
other hosts may also have a small or zero queue size, there is inefficiency in terms of an increase in
delay, as packets may loop or take a long time to make their way to the destination end. In this paper we
use the concept of shadow queues. Each node has to maintain some counters, called as shadow queues,
per destination. This is very similar to the idea of maintaining a routing table (for routing purpose) per
destination. Using the concept of shadow queues, we partially decouple routing and the scheduling. A
shadow network is maintained to update a probabilistic routing table that packets use upon arrival at a
node. The same shadow network, with back-pressure technique, is used to activate transmissions between
nodes. The routing algorithm is designed to minimize the average number of hops used by the packets in
the network. This idea, along with the scheduling and routing decoupling, leads to delay reduction
compared with the traditional back-pressure algorithm
Constructing Minimum Connected Dominating Set in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksGiselleginaGloria
One of the most important challenges of a Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is to ensure efficient routing among its nodes. A Connected Dominating Set (CDS) is a widely used concept by many protocols for broadcasting and routing in MANETs. Those existing protocols require significant message overhead in construction of CDS. In this paper, we propose a simple, inexpensive and novel algorithm of computing a minimum CDS. The proposed algorithm saves time and message overhead in forming a CDS while supporting node mobility efficiently. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is efficient in terms of both message complexity and the size of the CDS.

1. CROSS-LAYER DESIGN OF CONGESTION CONTROL AND POWER CONTROL
IN FAST-FADING WIRELESS NETWORKS
ABSTRACT:
We study the cross-layer design of congestion control and power allocation with outage
constraint in an interference-limited multihop wireless networks. Using a complete-
convexification method, we first propose a message-passing distributed algorithm that can attain
the global optimal source rate and link power allocation. Despite the attractiveness of its
optimality, this algorithm requires larger message size than that of the conventional scheme,
which increases network overheads. Using the bounds on outage probability, we map the outage
constraint to an SIR constraint and continue developing a practical near-optimal distributed
algorithm requiring only local SIR measurement at link receivers to limit the size of the message.
Due to the complicated complete-convexification method, however the congestion control of
both algorithms no longer preserves the existing TCP stack.
We propose the third algorithm using a successive convex approximation method to iteratively
transform the original nonconvex problem into approximated convex problems, then the global
optimal solution can converge distributively with message-passing. Thanks to the tightness of the
bounds and successive approximations, numerical results show that the gap between three
algorithms is almost indistinguishable. Despite the same type of the complete-convexification
method, the numerical comparison shows that the second near-optimal scheme has a faster
convergence rate than that of the first optimal one, which make the near-optimal scheme more
favorable and applicable in practice. Meanwhile, the third optimal scheme also has a faster
convergence rate than that of a previous work using logarithm successive approximation method.
