INTRODUCTION
 In agriculture, there is a need for a technology that is more easily
understood, implemented and used by the farmers
 Equipment that requires less human effort and time with less cost of
implementation is much required for success in the agricultural
industry
 Seed sowing is a hectic process for a farmer, especially due to the huge
area of the farming land
INTRODUCTION
 Smart cultivation robots aim to assist the working of farmers by replacing traditional
agricultural activities with the help of an intelligent robot that can perform the
desired job of sowing seed
 Solar powered cultivation robot should be considered in rural areas to save cost of
electricity
 Different seeds require different operating conditions. Hence, the smart cultivation
robot shall provide environmental measurements for the farmer to act accordingly.

2021 • The aim is to design a smart seed sowing robot that
consists of one robotic arm, which is controlled by an
android application, to sow the seeds from the seeds
container
• Once all the positions are set, the arm sows the seed
automatically after the switching button ON
• The wheel of the robot is also controlled through the
mobile application.
• This robot reduces the efforts and the total cost of sowing
the seeds.

available to the formers at a cheaper rate for sowing the
seeds
• The proposed robot can be specifically used for sowing
seeds of soybean, maize, pigeon pea, groundnut etc.

land levelling attachment for the proposed robot.

INTRODUCTION  Smart cultivation robots aim to assist the working of farmers by replacing traditional agricultural activities with the help of an intelligent robot that can perform the desired job of sowing seed  Solar powered cultivation robot should be considered in rural areas to save cost of electricity  Different seeds require different operating conditions. Hence, the smart cultivation robot shall provide environmental measurements for the farmer to act accordingly.

Title Year Details Design and fabrication of smart seed sowing robot [1] 2021 • The aim is to design a smart seed sowing robot that consists of one robotic arm, which is controlled by an android application, to sow the seeds from the seeds container • Once all the positions are set, the arm sows the seed automatically after the switching button ON • The wheel of the robot is also controlled through the mobile application. • This robot reduces the efforts and the total cost of sowing the seeds. Automated Seed Sowing Robot [2] 2021 • The aim is to design a better robotic machine that is available to the formers at a cheaper rate for sowing the seeds • The proposed robot can be specifically used for sowing seeds of soybean, maize, pigeon pea, groundnut etc. • The authors used ploughing rod, water pump, seed Sower land levelling attachment for the proposed robot.
