Julian C. Chambliss discusses how critical making and digital pedagogy can be used to achieve strong learning outcomes when aligned with course objectives. Some of the projects highlighted include using mapping as a narrative tool in the Trinity History Project, creating a mobile academic research application to continue the work of the Mobile African American Heritage Route, and using a mobile platform for a new "Sunset on the Mode" course focusing on Zora Neale Hurston.
