Criteo creative and tracking requirements
1. The creatives must not contain one of the following content : Violence or hate, Adult, Lingerie or sexual products and
services, Drugs or drug paraphernalia, Weapons and weapons accessories, Tobacco or tobacco accessories, Alcohol
or Alcohol accessories, Gambling.
Creatives must be sent to Criteo with the trackings and live dates associated to it in the same email and 48 hours prior
to the launch of the campaign.
Every part of the banner must be clickable and trigger a click redirecting to the advertiser website.
If there is more than one creative, impression pixel or tracking change per month you must provide Criteo with iFrame
redirects. The creative and tracking changes must be handled directly in your AdServer.
In the case of redirect banners, it is mandatory to have all assets compatible with the HTTP secure protocole (HTTPS).
All calls contained in the iframe redirect must be on the same domain than its adserver.
No element of the banner must trigger a direct file download in the browser of the user (MIME-type : application/octet-
steam or binary)

We have the ability to set :
1 Click Command per campaign
1 Impression Pixel per campaign (1x1 size only)
Criteo cannot implement any third-party tracking for redirect banners. Trackings must be implemented along with the
creatives on the AdServer. Those tracking must enable Criteo to count all clicks.
Criteo cannot add any other asset than impression pixels in the banners (eg: no JS file inclusion, no custom code)
For Audience selling and co-marketing campaigns : Only 1 Click Command can be implemented per retailer.
In case of redirect banners, the place where the clicktag macro must be inserted, has to be explicitly given. You must
also specify if the URL has to be URL-encoded or not.
The maximum allowed time to redirect to the next URL must be inferior to 150 milliseconds.

The creatives must be sent to Criteo in the form of a Zip archive (.zip file) containing one folder for each of the
campaigns, and the creatives directly inside these folders (no sub-folders in-between).
Each creative must be named in the form of {width}x{height}.extension like 120x600.gif
All creatives must have a 1 pixel border around the banner that must be in a different color than the background of
the banner.
In case of redirect banners, one file per campaign containing the redirects must be sent to Criteo. Whenever the
creatives change in the redirect banners, you need to advise Criteo.

For gif and redirect banners, all animations must stop at 30 seconds max, even in case there is a roll-over on the banner.
It is mandatory to have at least the 5 sizes mentioned with ● in the table above per campaign.
