Dr. Chandra Shekhar, a faculty member at the University of Jammu's P.G. Department of Psychology, has expertise in crime scene investigation processes including Locard's exchange principle, Louis Guttman's theory of behavioral research, and forensic testing methods for detecting crime such as DNA profiling, narco-analysis, polygraph, fingerprints, brain fingerprinting, ballistic fingerprinting, gas identification, DNA phenotyping, STR-analysis, mitochondrial DNA analysis, Y-chromosome analysis, and paternity testing. Dr. Shekhar also has experience assessing competence to stand trial using psychological tests.
