Cricket is a sport played between two teams of 11 players each who take turns batting and fielding. The field contains a rectangular pitch in the center with two wickets placed 20 meters apart. A wicket consists of three stumps with two bails balanced on top, and a batsman stands behind the wicket to hit the ball with a bat in an attempt to score runs while avoiding getting their wicket broken by the ball and opposing team.
