DAVE
brings over 18 years of diverse accomplish-
ments in user experience design and research for a number
of international corporations. His passion is found in leveraging the
synergies around design, media and technology. Dave delights in exceeding
the user and business objectives, within the context of creating a compelling
customer experience with the product, service or content. He serves as a zealous
customer advocate with expertise in creating information architecture, visual interface
design, and usability testing to move the heart of the target audience to take action and engage.
Dave and his teams innovated new paradigms for collaborating and communicating across multiple
devices in a NUI environment for Office Labs. They transformed the user experience for the multi
billion dollar revenue generating product “SharePoint”. He has been a key part of evangelizing Metro
design principles across Microsoft properties. Prior to his role as a lead UX Designer in the Office Expe-
rience Group, Dave served as the UX Sr. Director, covering visual interface, information architecture
and media strategist for the NFL’s New Orleans Saints official site. He has provided innovative and
award winning user experiences for global clients such as Rockwell International, Panasonic,
Siemens, Mitsui, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Boeing and Westin Hotels to mention a few.
He was hired to innovate, provide strategy, visual design, and information architecture and
user experience for the Scene IT DVD board game. He designed the user experience for
photo tools on DoCoMo cell phones, Nortel’s PDA’s, Kodak’s photo gallery, Sony &
HP iTV set tops and the Sega Dreamcast system. His experience mix covers a
blend of entertainment, consumer and business products, mobile,
games, and online experiences that delight customers
around the globe.

Lead the UX design, information architecture on the full
redesign. Designed the interface and strategy for rich
media and interactive games for the site. The result:
Record breaking traffic, visitors increased 43%, page
views grew 233%.

[DVD Interactive Board Game]
At its inception, I was brought onto design the original
UX and IA for this interactive innovation. The result: this
game transformed the standard, achieving international
award winning best seller status year over year. I
developed the patented technology for this solution.

Lead the roll out of a new responsive product experience.
Transformed the companies UX processes, integrated new
product offerings and leveraged new technologies. I
owned the translation strategy, budget and deployment as
well as the global HIG (Human Interface Guidelines).

I was hired as the first employee of this new initiative to
design and develop a fully functioning UX Engineering
practice in Seattle. I lead the design strategy for reimaginig
both all the companies news, weather sports sites and mobile
applications as well as OTT experiences. I drove the vision
and design for their unique CMS soltuion.
