What will be supported? 
•Artist / creative industry studios 
•Rehearsal and residency spaces 
•Production workshops 
•Creative mixed use facilities (must be used for new production primarily)
What type of start up costs? 
•Small capital, design and refurbishment costs 
•New equipment 
•New programming 
•Training and professional development costs 
•Marketing and communication
What will not be supported? 
•Applications for projects which could be considered as primarily exhibition, performance or retail spaces * 
•Organisation’s existing revenue or staff costs 
•Activity which can be considered as ‘core’ programming 
•Projects which will take place outside Aberdeen City 
•Capital projects already in receipt of support from Aberdeen City Council 
•Projects which support or promote religious or political activity 
•Individual practitioners *
Creative Spaces Development Funding 
•£100,000 available 
•First deadline Friday 30th January 2015 
•Additional support will be offered
