Fully integrated with other apps, you can, schedule, plan and analyze group
tasks for any kind of business.
Odoo Project enables the real-time management of projects. From the signing of
the contract to the final billing, teams are assisted in completing their tasks with
Odoo’s efficient planning tool.
In this Blog, you are going to discuss “Creation of Sales Order from Project in
Odoo 13”.
Configuration:
First of all. you can install the Project module in your database
3. Suppose let us create a new project named Odoo 13 Customization.
4. Go to Project -> Configuration -> Project and click on the Create button.
After creating the new project now, open the project to create the sales
order
5. Under this field, you can see all the details of the project and creating the
sales order. Upon clicking the button, a pop-up window will appear on this
page. Now fill the following required fields like Project name, Customer,
Service, Billing Type, Unit price, etc. By default, In Odoo Billing type is
divided into two types: At employee rate and At project rate.
At employee rate: The bills are calculated based on timesheet cost of the
employee
At Project rate: The cost amounts to the fixed cost of the project.
After creating the sales order at that time you can create the Invoice of
the customer, depends on the timesheets and tasks.
6. After clicking on the Create Sales Order button now you can see the
Sale order will get created.
7. Whenever you want to check the Project at the moment in time. At that
time you can click on the Invoicing tab and click on the Sales Order.
8. After clicking on the Sales order that you have created like S0038 under
the Invoicing tab. In sales order now you can view the two options like
Project Overview, Tasks.
9. After clicking on the Project Overview button at that time, you can view
the complete details of the project like invoice details, hours recorded and
profitability, time by people, timesheet and forecasts, etc.
10. Whenever you want to contain some data any timesheet for the project,
so you can create the tasks under your project and fill the following
required fields like Project Name, Assigned to, Deadline, Tags. Under
Timesheets fields you can fill the following fields like Planned hours,
Progress, Date, Employee, Description, Duration, etc.
11. After creating the tasks under the projects and you have entered the
timesheet for it. Now go to the Sales Order and click on the Create Invoice
button, at that time an invoice will be developed based on the project
timesheet. The unit price will be the same at the same time the creation of
the sale order from the project.
12. After the invoice is generated at that time, you can validate and do register
payment against this invoice. Go to the sales order and click on the Project
Overview button to see the complete details of the timesheet, task details,
and invoices. In the Project Overview tab you can see the following details
like hours recorded and profitability, time by people, timesheets, and
forecasts, etc.
