How to create a new page on your Jimbdo website

2. LOG IN

3. Go to your website.

4. Scroll down to the bottom and log in.

5. If you logged in before on the same
computer, this is what you might see:

6. Click on LOG IN NOW

7. IF YOU DO NOT LOG IN
• The page will be in view mode, not in edit
mode.
• You can view the page, but you cannot edit it.
• If you want to edit a page, log in.

8. WAIT FOR PAGE LOADING

9. A green circle means: Wait…

10. When the green circle is gone…
… then the page is fully loaded.

11. CREATE A NEW PAGE

12. Place the cursor on the top menu.
Do not click the mouse.

13. A blue box should appear.
Click on the blue box.

14. A grey box should appear.
Scroll down and see what’s there.

15. To create a new page under Agdan
Scroll down to Group 1, Agdan.

16. “Add a new page” will appear
Hover the cursor on the plus sign

17. A loading sign will appear:
Click on the plus sign.

18. A new page will appear
When the loading stops….

19. Type “ESSAYS”

20. Click on the > symbol

21. The page will move under AGDAN

22. Add a new page

23. A new page will appear

24. Type “LETTERS”

25. Add a new page

26. Type “VIDEOS”

27. Add a new page: JOURNALS

28. Add a new page: SLIDESHOWS

29. Click on SAVE

34. The View Mode
When you click on “View”
• The page will change from the Edit Mode to
the View Mode.
• This is what visitors will see.
• The web-page cannot be edited in the view
mode.
• If you want to edit the page, click on the Edit
button at the bottom of the page.

35. If the linked page is incorrect
• Return to the photo and repeat the
procedure.
• Be careful when choosing the target page (You
might need to scroll down a long list).

36. WARNING
• For security reasons, make it a habit to always
log out after working on something online.
• This applies to your class website, to
Facebook, to Google, or to any email.
• If you do not log out, others may be able to
access your website. Strangers may gather
private information about you.
• Always log out when you are done: always.
