  1. NC Workforce Development Partnership Conference - October 2006 01/11/12 NCCCS ACT took those 3 Skill Clusters and broke them down into 8 skill areas. Please recognize that Listening and Writing are two separate skills –but as the educator or employer, you can assess them individually or together.
  2. February 2008 Central Carolina CC Now we simply fill the gaps. Instead of putting an individual through an 18 week semester course for Applied Mathematics, we provide targeted training which may take only 18 hours.

NC Workforce Development Partnership Conference - October 2006 01/11/12 NCCCS WorkKeys provides us the employment tool that identifies those required skills based on the job profiles and the individuals competencies. We also have the retraining components to raise the skill level of the workforce to meet the needs of the employers. The 20% is not acceptable when we have a tool that can substantially change this outlook.
