Embarking on the Journey to the
Contributorship
 First step: From “Victim” to “Creator of my own
destiny”
 Second step: Having the willingness to take full
responsibility for one’s own development
 Third Step: Being the capacity to reflect on one’s
development and making appropriate modifications
Victims Vs Contributors
Victims Contributors
Believe circumstances are more
powerful than they are.
Believe that they as human beings, can
shape the circumstances they are in.
Live in the comfort of the known. Willing to fail and grow beyond the known.
Constantly blame others for their
circumstances or problems.
Take responsibility for their own
problems and solves.
Depend upon others to find
answers for them.
Rely on themselves and their own
solutions(instead of waiting for others to
find answers).
Embarking on the Journey to
Contributor ship
 From “Victim” to “Creator of my own Destiny” one
should come out form his “comfort zone”.
 Victim:
 Do not try new things.
 Live in the comfort of the known.
 Contributor :
 Try the new things.
 Willing to fail and grow beyond the known.
Contributors are willing to step out of their “comfort
zone” and try out new things
 Prabhu Kastoori Rajan is a
actor. His screen name is
Dhanush .
 Although he is a actor but
he try new thing , he sing
a song which is written
by him self.
 He come out his comfort
zone and do the thing in
which he is not professional.
 The song written and sung by
him had become very popular
and every one praised him.
 6
th Feb,1958 Manchester
United Football team
returning from Serbia
faced disastrous plane
crash in Munich
 21 of the 44 on board
aircraft died & 8 of
them were team
players
Contributors face challenges (instead of ignoring them
or running away from them)
OR as a Non Contributor
 One can pile up the
reason for their someone
else instead of looking
the mistakes they had
done.
“Kim Clijsters"
 One of the best professional tennis player had won 11
grand slams in singles and 4 titles in doubles.
Contributors choose to fill own life with
“meaningful” and “fulfilling” activities
 In 2006 Kim announced her engagement with basketball
player Brian Lynch. And with some injury problems and
family issues she retired in 2007.
 After one year she gave birth to a baby.
 After giving birth to child she
didn’t give up her tennis career.
 She came back in professional
tennis in 2009.
 After returning to the professional
tennis. She won US OPEN(i.e.
twice in 2009 and 2010).
 Won Championship in 2010.
.
Contributors rely on themselves, instead of waiting for
others to solve their problems
 APJ Abdul Kalam used to work as news paper distributor to
financially support his family.
 Now from his hard work and ambitions he had
become the Space Scientist and also serve India as
President.
Conclusion
 All the major contributors in present or past have gone
through many obstacles but every time they had to chose
between two roads they choose “Not To Give UP”.
 And this is what makes them special.
 So here we can Conclude that these people to gain the
title of “Contributor” had to go off books or syllabus.
