This document discusses the journey from being a "victim" to becoming a "contributor." It defines victims as those who believe their circumstances are out of their control and blame others for problems, while contributors believe they can shape their situation and take responsibility for solving their own problems. The three steps to becoming a contributor are: 1) seeing oneself as the creator of one's own destiny, 2) taking responsibility for self-development, and 3) reflecting on and improving one's development. Contributors are willing to try new things, face challenges rather than avoid them, fill their lives with meaningful activities, and rely on themselves to solve problems rather than waiting for others. Examples are given of contributors who overcame obstacles through hard work and perseverance
