TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
CPCA provides members with the technical
assistance they need to comply with the strict
policy and regulations they are governed by
including billing, licensing, compliance, and more.
FINANCIAL HEALTH
With the implementation of the Affordable
Care Act and the certainty of payment reform,
CPCA is helping to ensure a path to the
financial stability of CCHCs through training,
conferences, and innovative programs.
PARTNERSHIPS
CPCA seeks out and develops strategic
partnerships with state and federal agencies,
foundations, allied state and national health
organizations, elected officials and advocacy
groups to forge consensus and build coalitions
to achieve mutual goals.
ADVOCACY
CPCA actively represents its diverse member-
ship in legislative and regulatory forums in
Sacramento and Washington, D.C. CPCA sets
an aggressive advocacy agenda to ensure and
sustain state and federal funding for CCHCs and
to protect their ability to offer affordable,
quality care.
TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Through webinars, in-person trainings, and yearly
gatherings (Quality Care Conference, Day at the
Capitol, CFO & Billing Managers Conferences,
and Annual Conference), CPCA is committed
to providing members with the continued
education and support they need to effectively
compete in California’s evolving managed care
environment.This support enables members to
advance in effective CCHC delivery models, and
to successfully manage and improve the health
of their patients.
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
CPCA works closely with its members to
enhance the quality of CCHC care and
services and to reduce documented health
disparities among the vulnerable populations
served by CCHCs. CPCA also works to
analyze appropriate data to facilitate quality
improvement within California’s CCHCs.
BRANDING
CaliforniaHealth+, a brand developed by
CPCA for its members, helps educate patients
about the benefits of California’s CCHCs. CPCA
members in good standing are eligible to use the
brand to enhance their marketing, outreach, and
advertising efforts.
