To whom it may concern,
The available position caught my eye and I see it as the next logical step in my professional
development. After working for nearly 12 years in retail and customer service, I was forced to
discontinue working due to a nearly fatal attack that left me in great mental, emotional and
physical distress. During my recovery however, I was able to slightly continue to develop my
skills by seeking temporary employment through other companies to maintain some sort of
stability while also speeding up the mental/ emotional aspect of the recovery process. At this
point, not only do I now feel like I have the exact qualifications you seek, but am extremely
eager to once again build a career and better future for my children and I.
I also have experience in office or clerical duties, management or supervisory roles and as a
personal assistant. Though I've been out of the workforce, I have stayed current with industry
trends and found many opportunities to engage my skills to avoid 'getting rusty' as they say.
