Each student represents a country of
Europe and presents himself to the
others. In the half of the sheet the
students draw the flag of the country and
in the other half write a text about the
country.

5. Greece

6. Μy name is Greece and my capital is Athens. My
population is 10,858,018. I possess the southernmost
part of the Balkan Peninsula and I'm in the
southeastern part of Europe. I am bordered by
Albania, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia,
Bulgaria and Turkey.
I’ve too many islands and every summer thousands
of tourists and Greek people go for vacation. My
residents are occupied with agriculture, animal
husbandry, fisheries and various professions.
All countries know me because I have a long history
and culture. Everyone knows the great philosophers of
antiquity, as Plato, my poets such as Seferis, Elytis,
Ritsos etc.

7. The symbol of my civilization is Acropolis.
Acropolis was built in the time of Pericles, the
465p.ch. The architects who supervised the
building of Parthenon and other temples located
on the Acropolis were Phidias, Callicrates and
Callimachus.
I'm a very beautiful country. The sun shines
all the seasons. My flag has 9 lanes: 5 blue and 4
white.

10. I’ m Portugal and my capital is Lisbon. I am
located on the western edge of Iberian
Peninsula in southwestern Europe. North and
east I abut with Spain, while the south and west
I am bordered by Atlantic Ocean. My population
is 10,341,330 inhabitants.
I produce a wide variety of products such as
tomatoes, citrus fruits, green vegetables, corn,
nuts, fruits, chicken meat, beef, I also produce
paper and I am the largest producer of cork
worldwide.
One important monument of mine is Tower
of Belem in Lisbon. The tower has traditional
architecture and is built in Gothic style.

11. Football is the most popular of my
sports and I have many distinctions.
I am a very beautiful country and one
of my sides is bordered by Atlantic and
my flag is red and green.

13. Spain

14. My name is Spain and my capital is Madrid. My
population is 46,438,422. I am located in the
southern and western part of Europe, bordering
Portugal, Andorra and Morocco.
I have so many mountains, two of the most
important are Pyrenees and Cantabrian. I have
many valleys and rivers and large pastures. My
residents are mainly occupies with agriculture,
livestock and fisheries.
Everyone knows that I have my own special
history. My inhabitants speak different languages
such as Spanish, Castilian, Romanic. My most
important writers are: Miguel Cervantes (Don
Quixote), Kastelao etc.

15. My most important cultural project is the
Sagrada Familia, a UNESCO World Heritage project.
I am such a beautiful Mediterranean country.
The sun is shining over me and my flag has three
horizontal stripes: two red and one yellow.

17. Bulgaria

18. My name is Bulgaria and my capital is
Sofia. My population is 7,500,000. I am
located in the northeastern part of the
Balkan Peninsula and I'm in the
southeastern part of Europe. I abut with
Romania, Greece, Turkey, Serbia and
Republic of Macedonia.
I'm a mountainous country and I have
many rivers.
My inhabitants are occupied with
agriculture, trade, farming, tourism and
industry. I am the first country in
sunflower production.

19. Originally Greeks inhabited my coasts and
later Gauls, Romans and Slavs. The Turks
mastered me for 400 years and tried to change
my religion, but finally most of my inhabitants
are Orthodox Christians.
I have great architectural monuments, such
as Batskovo.
My flag has three colors: white which
symbolizes peace, green which symbolizes the
dynamics of the young people and the red
which symbolizes the bravery of my military.

22. My name is France and my capital is Paris.
My population is 67.063 million. I am located
on west ends of Europe. I am bordered by
Belgium and Luxembourg to the northeast,
with Germany and Switzerland to the east,
with Italy and Monaco in the southeast and
with Spain and Andorra to the southwest.
I'm an agricultural and industrial
country. My main products are: wheat,
barley, potato and sugar beet. I am famous
for the excellent quality of my wines and my
400 types of cheese which I produce.

known for my painters like Delacroix,
Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, who are
remembered as great painters.
The Eiffel Tower is my symbol, which
stands there to celebrate 100 years since
the French Revolution.
I am a beautiful country. My slogan is

26. My name is Belgium and my capital is
Brussels. My population is 11,306,030. I am a
country in northwest Europe and I am bordered
by the Netherlands, Germany, France and
Luxembourg.
My inhabitants are occupied with
agriculture, livestock and industry. I import raw
materials from other countries and my industry
is mainly based on vehicle assembly.
I am bilingual. Most of my residents speak
French and the rest German. I am known for my
architecture and my artists.

27. I'm a country like fairytale with castles,
canals and cobblestone streets. No tourist
leaves if he doesn’t try my waffles and
chocolates. My most important monument is the
Manneken pis, little boy urinating.

Bucharest. I am located in the north of
Europe and I am bordered with Hungary,
Serbia and Moldova. I have a population
of 20 million residents.
I have many mountains and forests. My
residents are occupied with agriculture
and animal breeding.
I was enslaved by the Ottoman Empire
until May 9, 1877.

bordered by Scotland and on the west

southern part of Great Britain which it is
located in the North Atlantic Ocean.
I started the Industrial Revolution in
the 18th century. My territory consists
of low grounds and plains. I'm so beautiful
a country.

35. My name is Hungary and my capital is
Budapest. My population is 10,076,062. I
abut west with Austria, south with
Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Romania and
northern by Ukraine.
I am a lowland country with rich
vegetation and many species of animals.
My people are hardworking and they love
dances. My people create many projects
like lace Hollos and Hungarian porcelain.
My food and wines enchant the world.

36. I am a wounded country, because I
suffered from many wars. I was very sad
when I lost several pieces which belonged to
me as Slovakia, Croatia, Transylvania.
Although I much wounded by wars, my people
have won Nobel prizes and I have many
known scientists.
The symbol of my culture are the palaces
and castles. Those who visited by with the
time machine travel to another era.

The neighbors countries are Germany and
Sweden. I am located over thousands of
islands that are uninhabited. The islands
which belong to me are the autonomous
islands Faroe and Greenland.
I am an agricultural country. My people
cultivate mainly cereals and rear pigs and
wild sheep. Important role plays and
fishing. Also, I had highly developed
technology and I produce beer, paper and
wood.

very hurt because my town Auschwitz has
suffered greatly. There was a large
concentration camp of Nazi Germany.

Frederick Chopin and I have known

bordered by Switzerland and Austria, in

providers.
The history of Italy is closely
connected with Mediterranean and
European culture.

Sicily, while in the central Italy Etruscans
dominated. I am known for my great ancient
history.
Tower of Piza and Roman Coliseum are my

music.

am located in northern Europe and next to
me are Norway and Finland. I am the

because we do recycle.

whiskey. I extract the known cheese
regkato and cheddar cheese.

stones and much more. On me the great
writer Oscar Wilde and other important
people were born.
My civilization symbol is Stonehenge. It
was built 3000 years ago and the myth
says that it was built from giants.

Amsterdam. I have the European part of
Western Europe. I am surrounded by the North
Sea, Belgium and Germany.
I am one of the biggest food exporting and
agricultural products country due to the fact
that I have fertile land and mild climate.
Floriculture plays a big role in my economy and
especially the cultivation of tulips. Finally, I am
known for the famous Dutch cheeses and
Cáceres which I export to all European
countries.

art. In my arms widely known painters, such
as Rembrandt, Vincent, Van Gogh who left a
fortune their fingerprints to the other
artists grew up.
The symbol of my culture is the National
Museum which is located in Amsterdam and

and I am bordered by Poland, Germany,
Austria and Slovakia.
I have many rivers, the most important of
which are three: the Elbe, Danube and Oder.
I am mainly an industrial country and my
residents are engaged in blacksmithing,
weaving, the industry of musical instrument ,
agriculture and animal husbandry.
I am known for my capital Prague with
unique buildings, magnificent bridges and
many attractions. Important moment in my
history was in 1993 that I was split by
Slovakia.

63. The National Theatre, Charles Bridge,
Prague Castle, the St. Nicholas Church
and the Old Town Square are symbols of
my cultural heritage.
I am a fabulous city and many people
call me magic. My flag is white which
symbolizes peace, red which symbolizes
battles and blue which symbolizes peace.

island country in the eastern
Mediterranean and my capital is Nicosia. I
am bordered by Greece, Turkey, Syria,
Lebanon, Israel and Egypt. I have two
official languages, Cypriot and Turkish.
My population is 1,241,166. The north side
of me is occupied by Turkey since 1974.
I am the third largest Mediterranean
island after Sicily and Sardinia.

67. I took my name from the King of
Cyprus, whose Enni, his daughter married
the Achaean Teucer, son of King Telamon
of Salamis, when he came exile after the
Trojan war.
I have dense vegetation and one
species of animals, the Cypriot mouflon
which belongs to the sheep family.

357.376km2. I became a member of the EU
on 1 January,1958.

EU countries, so I am the coordinator. My

factories, education, restaurants, trades and
other professions.
I have too many important people involved
in the arts from the Renaissance to today.
My flag has three colors: black, red and
yellow.

population is 8.474 billion. I am a Mediterranean state
of central Europe and a federation of nine provinces. I
am bordered by Liechtenstein and Switzerland west,
Italy and Slovenia south, Hungary and Slovakia, Germany
and the Czech Republic north.
Here he was born in 1756 the famous composer
Amadeus Mozart. My capital is known for the waltz and

different peoples. In 1964 I gained my
independence.
Symbol of my culture is the temple of Agar
Kim.
I am a small and beautiful country and I only
have two seasons: 6 months winter and 6 months
summer. My flag has two vertical strips: one
white and one red. On the white stripe I have a
cross.
