Costumes
- 1. A rough idea for costumes, including the home clothes (reality) and the more formal clothes (fantasy), including ideas and inspiration
- 2. Costumes For the music video everyday clothes are not allowed, however because of the nature of our video everyday clothes are in fact needed. We have carefully discussed how we can interpret this. I will cover examples of home and formal clothes our character could wear. Home clothes we were thinking of slouchy and comfortable clothes. Some examples are: clothes (reality) For the home Zipped up jacket/hoodie Leggings Zipped up jacket/hoodie Jogging bottoms Pyjama bottoms T-shirt Hair- messy
- 3. More formal clothes For when our main character is at the stage imagining her ‘perfect world’ we decided to have her wearing a dress. Because we are hoping to have the fantasy world our main character creates in her head to have similar aspects to Alice In Wonderland (hence the forest/wood themes seen in the location research) so we thought the outfit for when our main character is on the stage could have a similar aspects to Alice’s outfit.
- 4. More formal clothes (fantasy) examples… dresses… The dress will probably along these lines, something simple but at the same time very different to the home clothes. Hair – elegant/simple shoes… The shoes will probably be quite simple, either flat pumps or a simple heel. It will probably be whatever our actor is comfortable in
- 5. Google image results Google images has an array of different Alice in Wonderland inspired outfits from either magazine features or websites like polyvore
- 6. The next slide is a mood board of various pictures of people cosplaying of Alice, the Disneyland characters and jewellery.
- 8. Pinterest The website pinterest.com, like Google images has an array of inspired outfits including other Disney characters like Belle, Wendy, Ariel and Cinderella.
- 9. Not specifically Alice On pinterest people have Disney themed ‘pinboards’ with Disney inspired outfits, some of which have similar aspects to Alice in Wonderland. This is due to similar colours and styles, all of which we could interpret.
