Preparing for project polaris
Serving its Florida community for 45 years,
Cortez Foot and Ankle Specialists serves patients
in three locations, a physical therapy office, and
an ambulatory surgical center. The practice
had been very pleased with Greenway Revenue
Services’ revenue cycle management. They had
also used Greenway’s SuccessEHS software
for six years but believed they could be more
productive and efficient with improved patient
portal and clinical reporting capabilities.
After consulting with their Greenway partners,
Cortez Foot and Ankle chose to upgrade to
Greenway’s Intergy EHR/practice management
software. They believed it would meet their portal
and reporting requirements, but they were also
looking forward to Project Polaris, the upcoming
Greenway EHR/practice management solution.
“Intergy is going to be the jumping off point to the
new, improved software,” states Robin Howells,

Suite and Intergy together in a single package.
We were very interested in that.”

the practice
Howells was impressed with Greenway’s ability
to leverage knowledge of current and upcoming
software to propose solutions just right for their

they maintain their then-current EHS interface for
Greenway Revenue Services. “We did not convert
any of our financial data,” Howells says. “We have

and costs by continuing to work with the
Greenway Revenue Services through our previous
system. We only converted the clinical and basic
demographic information.”
Cortez Foot and Ankle now has the robust portal
and reporting capabilities they sought, without
having disrupted their successful, long-standing
partnership with Greenway Revenue Services.
“The Intergy portal is more user-friendly,” Howells
reports. “We probably have a 60% geriatric
patient base that isn’t terribly tech savvy, and
communication between doctor and patient is
much better with Intergy.” Intergy’s enhanced
reports also provide better data that help Cortez
Foot and Ankle grow the practice, while meeting
the demanding requirements of value-based care.

The practice is pleased to grow its relationship
