covid-19?
It is a group of RNA viruses, that can cause
various type of diseases and can cause even
death. This type of groups of viruses is known as
CORONA VIRUS OR COVID-19.
What is the medicine for this?
Till today (20/5/20) there is no medicine for
this dangerous disease but we can prevent it from
spreading.

What are the symptoms of this
disease?
The symptoms of this dangerous disease are:
 Most common symptoms-
i. Fever
ii. dry cough
iii. tiredness
 Less common symptoms-
i. Aches and pains
ii. Sore throat
iii. Diarrhoea
iv. Conjunctivitis
v. Headache
vi. Loss of taste or smell
vii. A rash on skin or discolouration of fingers
or toes
 Serious symptoms-

I. Difficulty in breathing or shortness of
breath
II. Chest pain or pressure
III. Loss of speech or movement
When does these symptoms
appears?
The symptoms of this disease normally after
5 to 6 days after the person come to contact
with an infected person. Whereas these
symptoms can appear even after 14 days
How this disease spread?
This disease can spread from a person to
another by touch, sneezing in front of a
person or even by an infected surface (a
surface which is touched by an infected
person).

What precautions should be
taken to stop spreading of this
disease?
The main precautions to stop this disease are
as follow:
Maintain social distancing i.e. at least1 to 2
meters from everyone.
Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds or
sanitize with alcoholic based hand sanitizer.
 If you have visited from any corona infected
foreign country, then immediately quarantine
yourself for 14 days.
 And if you are having any one of symptoms of
corona virus or covid – 19 then immediately
contact your doctor for a test.
 Install ‘Arogya Setu’ app and enter your all
correct details in it as asked by the app.
 Always wear a mask whenever you go out of your
home.
 And most important is to stay at home and follow
strict lockdown even if the lockdown period has
been ended.
