In the simplest terms, “vocation” means a “call.” In general terms your vocation is what God calls you to do with your life. Everyone is called to know, love and serve God in this life, in order to be happy with him forever in heaven.

All people are “invited”

This is the Foundation of the entire
priestly formation. There are two aspects of
Human Formation:

18. Psycho-Emotional
This is to help the
Seminarians to accept
their wounded past and
acknowledge the need
of healing at the various
stages of lives. Aims to
form persons who have
acquired a sense of self
identity.

19. Psycho-Social
Personal attention and
guidance should be
facilitated so that
Seminarians can develop
human relation skills. This
further aims at developing
persons who have a
acquired sense of
openness and the ability
to communicate effective
with the capacity for
empathy.

30. This aspect of formation aims to improve the
person’s sense of critical reflection on their
experiences, coherent and logical expression
of their ideas, and a practical common sense.
It aims towards integration and translation of
various aspects of intellectual knowledge
into action in a concrete life situation.

36. This aims to develop the desire to cooperate
with Christ in the work of salvation in a
communitarian level. Thus this expects the
persons to acquire a personal sensitivity to the
real needs of people and the willingness to walk
in solidarity with the poor, the sick, the
prisoners and the children.
