Lead 15-20 children on interpretive hikes, learned natural history/ecology of area,taught children about
how to preserve the dunes, used conservation techniques to remove invasive species (European beach
grass,ice plant, etc.),practiced knowledge of animal tracking, botany and ecology when teaching
children: identified specific fauna evidence, how to preserve endangered plant species, schooled in dune
ecology, cleaned, organized and created displays in the Friends of the Dunes Interpretive Center for
public education.

Natural History Interpretive talks (20-50 people), accomplished raptor glove handling, practiced bird of

euthanizations: learned techniques to sooth animals, recognize aggression and restrain resistance to
