Senior Project: Herpetology Citizen Science Project at Sandy Creek Nature Center in Athens, Georgia (2014)
Description:
The purpose of this project was to assist Sandy Creek Nature Center in improving their
herpetological citizen science program. I worked with a team to research citizen science
programs and surveying techniques that could be implemented at Sandy Creek Nature
Center. We also surveyed the participants in order to gain a better idea of their backgrounds
and interests. We wrote up a proposal and created a presentation to communicate our
findings.

University of Georgia Herpetological Society:
Outreach and Animal Care Volunteer (2012-14)
Description:
I assisted weekly in the feeding and maintenance of UGHS’s outreach herpetofauna. I also
volunteered at club outreaches, presenting with live animals and other wildlife and plant
artifacts in a one-on-one or small group setting.
Animal Care Coordinator (2013-14)
Description:
I organized volunteers and resources needed to maintain our outreach animals. This also
involved training and supervising new volunteers.

Description:
Chi Alpha is a campus ministry group whose goal is to create a Christian community
