● With copy right, all rights are reserved meaning that you cannot

● With creative commons, it is more flexible as some rights are
reserved. Thus allowing us to share and adapt the material as
long as we abide to the terms and conditions of the license that
the material is licensed with
● Creative commons licenses help authors keep and manage their
copyright on terms they choose enabling them to facilitate the
labeling and discovery of works that are already free of
known copyright restrictions.
