CAREER OVERVIEW
As a young adult, I can’t say I have gained much experience to boast about a professional
background. Instead I want to say, I am willing, and excited to learn If I was given this opportunity
to grow. I have had the privilege to work for a variety of different businesses including, Festival
Foods, George St. Pub, Cass Bar, Sew Clean, and Empire Screen Printing. On a more personal note, I
have a passion for the Arts, and plan to continue my education here in the city of Lacrosse.
CORE STRENGTHS
Very Motivated - When I want Energetic work attitude - I tend to
something done, I made sure I come to work with a positive
give hundred percent to see it outlook on my day, seeking
through. learning opportunities. I leave
conflict in my own personal life
Active listening skills - I was at the door, and carry myself with
given two ears and one mouth, I a smile.
follow that principle.
Dependable - I am punctual,
Seasoned in conflict resolution - taught to be early rather than
"The customer is always right." late. I hold myself to a standard.
Honest - Integrity is everything.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
In the area of accomplishments, I don't see myself as having very many
professional achievements. I have although had the privilege to learn many
skill sets in different areas of work such as customer service, where I learned
the importance of conflict resolution. I applied this to many other areas of my
life, one of which being educational. I attended a private school in West
Salem, Coulee Christian School. As a senior, I held the leadership position as
"Chaplain". In short, I planned a weekly chapel, coordinated our school worship
band, and gave out general announcements. I would also mentor younger,
struggling students. It was to say the least, a humbling experience. Conflict
resolution definitely came into play when relating to fellow students, and
what they were facing in their day to day life.
WORK EXPERIENCE
03/2012 to 12/2014 Cashier/Natural Organic
Festival Foods - Onalaska, W I
I held a cashier position with this company, as well as aided in the stocking of
the natural organic department. I also was available to answer customer’s
questions on food allergies. I would check guests out always trying to greet
them with a smile and the common question "Did you find everything you
were looking for?" We were taught the boomerang theory, which I believe can
and should apply to our day to day life. "Every business decision we make is
based on the question, Will it bring the customer back?"
- Prevented store losses using awareness, attention to detail and integrity.
- Maintained up-to-date knowledge of store policies regarding payments,
returns and exchanges.
- Trained new employees quarterly.
- Developed highly empathetic client relationships and earned reputation for
exceeding sales goals.
- Cross-trained and provided back-up for other customer service
representatives when needed.

06/2014 Bartender
George St. Pub - Onalaska, W I
I served customers according to regulations, and had fun in the process. I
learned a new set of people skills through learning to bartend. It taught me
the simple, yet sometimes hard trait to posses, patience.
01/2015 Bartender/Cook
Cass Bar - Lacrosse, W I
Here, I also served guests according to food and beverage regulations. This
bartending job was just a bit more of a challenge though. Handling conflict
with customers, as well as my boss became a learning experience within
itself.
- Organized weekly sales reports for Jerry.
- Created new processes and systems for increasing customer service
satisfaction.
- Trained new employees often.
- Kept the Bar itself clean and presentable.
03/2015 Front Desk
Sew Clean - Lacrosse, W I
I worked at the front desk, processing customer's dry cleaning orders as they
came through. I also worked with their sister company CRDN in processing fire
damaged belongings, cleaning, tagging, data entry exc.
11/2015 Small Value - screen printer
Empire Screen Printing - Onalaska, W I
Here i worked in what we called a "cell". It was a group of five people or so that
would work together to produce printed products acceptable to our
customer's expectations. As an employee I cross trained learning the different
machines/ and or process of printing. Conflict resolution was huge here, seeing
we worked with the same group of people every day. It was a team effort.
