NewLife Investments, LLC – Owner/Broker 2008-2011
My position with NewLife Investments, LLC was as owner/broker. I worked for every client, in all 50
states, to find the best fit of financial strategy. My appointments with 26 companies made it possible
for me to provide a level of service that captive agents simply could not compete with. Sadly, I had
to close my doors in 2011 after my divorce made time management between my children and
business impossible.
Limited Brands, INC – Co-Director, Victoria’s Secret 1999-2002
My position at Victoria’s Secret, Missoula, MT was as co-director. My duties included managing the
front of house operations of our high-volume store. I was responsible for the hiring, training and
management of all personnel under management. Daily, I had to make sure the integrity of the
merchandising and signage in the store was maintained. I was also responsible for checking hourly
sales numbers to maintain our store’s “platinum” status within the entire Victoria’s Secret chain, the
highest ranking given to each store based on several factors including sales, returns, credit cards
opened and labor cost.

My customer service background started in the restaurant industry and appealed to my busy and

As a mother and wife for the past 20 years, I have learned skills that simply cannot be taught. I have
learned to not only multi-task, but to know what is expected of me, and to prioritize these tasks to
ensure full completion with intense focus to detail. I have learned patience as well as self-control
and a diplomatic view of arguments and misunderstandings. I have learned to utilize the amount of
time and tools given for any task to the fullest extent. I have also learned that it is not only easier, but
saves time and energy if I ask questions about anything I am unsure about. Holding this position for

I received my training and CFP certification through Kaplan. I re-tested in 2016 to become an Idaho
State Licensed Insurance Broker for Life and P&C. Studying and passing the Health/LTC exam would

As a student of truth and knowledge, I have read many books, publications, papers, websites and
periodicals on many subjects ranging from different religions to DIY organic gardening. My favorite
topics include history, global current events and fitness related information. The texts and periodicals
I frequently read are Holy Bible, Town & Country, NASM, Biblical Archaeological Society, Egyptology,
IronMan, Flex, Muscle & Fitness, Fitness Rx, Oxygen, Clean Eating Magazine, Weaver Curriculum for
Homeschoolers and Herbalist publications. I also enjoy several fictional and historical fiction novels
and authors. My favorite podcasts center around bodybuilding and start-ups.
