ABSTRACT
 Objectives of the science and tecnology carnival is to
    create the culture of innovation and designation among
    the students.
 It is perfectly feasible to power the cooker by heat
    energy.
 Can be convert to heat energy.
 Work based on the the basic principle, which convert
    sunlight to heat energy and retain the heat for cooking.
 the panel solar cooker surface must be able to absorb
    effectively and reflect sunlightinto the cooker
 A transparent heat trap is needed on top of the cooker
    to retain the heat, and an insulator below to trap the
    heat.
 Should be use on sunny day
   Between 10.00 a.m to 12.00 p.m.
INTRODUCION
 Source of energy – diesel, petroleum, gas may
           not last very long in future
 Renewable energy – not subject to
                     deplecation
 Solar energy – source of renewable energy
 Panel solar cooker – use sunlight as an
             alternative source to cook
               - should be protected from strong
               wind
               - made from black mounting board
               which is able to absorb heat
               - has a portable design makes it easily
               handled and transferred from a place to
               another place.
Objectives
The objectives of the project are:
 To create the culture of innovation and
  designation among the students;
 To instill the responsibility among
  students to use energy sources
  effeciently;
 To increase the creativity and
  compotitiveness among the students;
 To use the solar energy as a
  alternative source to produce heat
  energy
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The project was carried out specifically :
 To increase the student’s understanding
  on the science process, manipulative
  skills and science and technology
  concepts.
 To desing the cooker that can be used
  sunlight energy opltimally and convert
  this energy to heat energy.
 To design a panel solar coooker that is
  able to reflect the sunlight onto the
  cooker, absorb and retain the heat in the
  cooker.
SCIENTIFIC THEORY
The collection of heat :
 concentrate sunlight into the panel solar
  cooker
 Convert sunlight to heat
 Trapping heat using a transparent plastic

DISCUSSION AND
CONCLUSION
 Nowdays we used electrical energy
  power by diesel, petroleum and gas;
 This energy may deplete in the future;
 So, we have to used the renewable
  energy such as sunlight;
 We have make a portable panel solar
  cooker to solve the problem;
 This solar cooker functioning on the
  sunny day;
 This solar cooker change energy from the
  sun to heat energy which is used to heat
  the water;
 Dark and dull are a good absorber of heat.
  Meanwhile, white and shiny surface is a
  better reflector of heat;
 So, we choose black mounting board to
  absorb heat and shiny materials(
  aluminium foil) to make the reflector;
 The reflector is to reflect the light to our
  panel solar cooker;
 This panel solar cooker collect and trap
  the energy from the sun so that it always
  hot;
 The cooker can reach higher
  temperatures, which is enough to boil
  water.
Thank you
