March 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009: OWNER, GENERAL MANAGER AND MANAGER OF
CONTRACTS for Goldie’s Route 66 Diner. Opened the restaurant including purchasing equipment and
inventory; interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling and supervising a staff of 15. Negotiated and wrote
all contracts. Conducted all financial duties and banking. Developed and implemented a marketing and
public relations program. Conducted all inventories and food ordering.
April 2002 - January 2009: OWNER, GENERAL MANAGER AND MANGER OF
CONTRACTS for Grand Canyon Caverns and Inn, a tourist attraction with nine separate profit centers,
located near Peach Springs, Arizona. Controlled an annual budget of over 6 hundred thousand dollars.
Responsible for all finances, personnel, sales and marketing. Supervised a staff of over 50 people
including hiring, training and scheduling. The business operated a restaurant with wait staff, a snack bar,
buffet, two bars and barbeque. Responsible for all food and equipment purchases and leases. Turned an
unprofitable business into a profitable one. I was responsible for all marketing and public promotions.
October 1989 - August 2006: PRINCIPAL AND OWNER of the Law Offices of K.F. Kadletz and
Associates, a commercial transaction and real property law firm located in Orange County, California.
Specialized in negotiating and drafting contracts and assessing the risks involved. Successfully increased
revenue from a start-up law firm to over $500,000 in less than two years. Represented small, medium
and large businesses including multi-national billion dollar companies and restaurants including a
restaurant franchisee. Conducted legal audits for clients on regulatory compliance. Dealt with all levels
