The document is a report submitted by two students, U1153049 and U1151772, to their supervisor Miss Shubashini for their Studying for Business course. The report provides recommendations for planning a conference, including potential venues in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the best times to hold the conference, and daily conference packages. Key recommendations include the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, or Putra World Trade Centre as venues, dates in May, August or December, and package options from the KLCC that include meals and coffee breaks.
In one of my marketing classes our final project was to act as a consultant to a business. Midfield Cafe is a local nashua diner that is popular, but doesn't effectively have a marketing strategy. My presentation goes over their current tactics and my ideas on what they could do to improve their restaurant and business.
Innovation is crucial to an organisation’s ability to retain competitive advantage, especially when faced with the economic pressures of today. The consulting industry was born out of this belief and continues to be a source of support for organisations looking for that expertise. However, there is very little research on how the experts in this field develop their products and services to ensure they stay at the cutting edge of innovative working practices.
This aim of this report is to stimulate consultancies to be more innovative and thereby add more value to their clients. I hope that you find it achieves both these objectives.

(Lucious)Many steps in the systems development process may cause a project to balloon out of control, affecting the scope's size, where the budget and timeline remain the same. Unfortunately, this is a widespread problem known as scope creep during an IS development. Scope creep is an unexpected demand that moves a project past its predetermined limits. Projects are always documented with a planning outline, which covers in-depth details on boundaries, schedules, major deliverables, time, and budget. Unfortunately, individuals involved in the project may intentionally or unintentionally cause a project to not meet its goals due to the unpredictable nature of adding tasks to a project in progress. Project managers can ensure that the scope is clear by referring to the project planning outline, where all the boundaries and parameters of the project stipulate all deliverables. Spending extra time finalizing the plan can dial in a clear and detailed scope for everyone involved in the project. A project manager needs to engage directly with the clients by speaking with them and thoroughly walking them through all the parameters and deliverables. Closely collaborating with clients throughout the various stages of the project can prevent hiccups that may occur. If issues arise during project development, it is always best to be transparent with the client about every problem. Being able to work through solutions with clients will ease the anxieties as strategies are planned. To ensure deliverables are to the client's expectations, necessary features should be identified as critical for delivering a usable end product. For example, managing a scope creep can be difficult if not handled correctly. However, managing change in a project development does not have to be a battle of wills. Knowing how to address change can be beneficial. It can be outlined in the project planning document with parameters that will deliver the best product for the client without derailing the project. Forget the A to Z of why it projects fail, here’s the S to L of successful!Stoneseed Ltd
THE TOP TEN WAYS TO KEEP YOUR PROJECT ON TRACK
CREATED BY: DAVID COTGREAVE
A number of articles have either dropped in my Office 365 inbox this week, or on various social media feeds, each of them detailing a list of the reasons why IT Projects fail.
That's a rather negative way to approach it.
The best sports teams didn't build success by checking out why other teams were losing - they focussed on winning. You should too.
You can certainly learn from the mistakes of others (and yourself) but instead of dwelling on the A to Z of failures, how about championing the S to L of what happens when IT projects are SUCCESSFUL.
S - is for Skills
U - is for Understanding
C - is for Communication (and clarity)
C - is for Change Leadership
E - is for Efficient Execution
S - is for Systems
S - is for Supervision
F - is for Fact-Rooted analysis
U - is for User input
L - is for Learn
The S to L of SUCCESSFUL.
If it sounds simple, it's because it is. Sort of.
Except, of course, for the fact that behind each of the ten points above there lies a lot of hard work and hard earned experience - sometimes it's like herding cats - but the gains are there to be won.
Just don't start with a list of why projects fail.

How do you build a social organization? We're not talking about tweeting and posting updates on Facebook. We're talking about an organization that collaborates internally using an enterprise social network (ESN). An ESN is an internal platform designed to foster collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing among employees.
If your company doesn’t use an ESN, consider more than 90 percent of Fortune 500 companies partially or fully implemented an enterprise social network by the end of 2013, according to Deloitte analysis. This is a 70 percent increase over 2011.
We live in an age where marketing has been undergoing radical changes at such a rate that we’re still developing the best ways to accomplish work successfully. Each of the major aspects of digital marketing has developed in their own silos. Now we can gain enormous economies and efficiencies through more internal collaboration and by tearing down those silos.
In this webinar, our panelists will share:
-Company cultures that support information sharing and collaboration.
-How to identify which business areas can benefit from increased communication.
-Tips on choosing software for your company’s, department’s, and team’s needs.
-Social networks aimed at businesses.
-Ways to improve participation in enterprise social networks.
The future of customer support is AI-driven automation. Soon, we’ll interact conversationally with bots that know who we are and how to fix our problem right the first time. Soon, the capabilities of virtual agents will far exceed those of today’s best humans. We’ll receive support that is more reliable than friends, more accurate than social media, and less frustrating than waiting on hold.
In this session, we’ll discuss how artificial intelligence is impacting IT. We’ll cover research trends, technical challenges, and the cultural implications of AI-driven automation. We’ll also discuss how AI and natural language processing (NLP) can be used to improve KPIs like MTTR, FCR, cost per ticket, and customer satisfaction.
You'll leave better informed, less frightened, and armed with actionable advice to help you spearhead your team's vision for the future of IT.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 Information Technology
Information Technology (IT) and Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) are a technology that is required for data processing. The topic is very
broad meaning; it encompasses all aspects of management and information
processing. In addition, it involves the use of computers and software to edit,
save, protect, process, transmit, view and obtain information, regardless of place
and time. The term “information technology” is said to appear in the 1970s.
However there are elements of history that says the 20th century, there is research
done by industry to develop the electronics, computers, and information theory is
that, because a lot of machinery used in the field by the military.
The first commercial computer was the UNIVAC I. It was designed by J. Presper
Eckert and John Mauchly for the U.S. Census Bureau. End of the 1970s saw the
rise of microcomputers, followed closely by IBM personal computer in 1981.
Since then, four generations of computers have evolved, with each generation
represented a step that was characterized by smaller hardware and capable. The
first generation used vacuum tubes, with the second generation and third
respectively transistors and integrated circuits. Thus, we see many greater using
the current generation of complex systems, such as very large scale integration
(VLSI). IT is a field of technology management and reaching a variety of areas
including computer software, information systems, and computer hardware,
programming languages, but not limited to such things as processes, and building
data. IT provides the business with four sets of core services to help implement
business strategy: the automation of business processes, providing information,
liaising with clients, and productivity tools. IT provides the business with four

the recommended time is in the morning and evening, and one day may be a half

end of the week. Also, try to avoid the beginning of the academic terms, as it will
require at least two weeks before the busy day. Therefore, there are four proposals
chosen date of May, August and December. This can facilitate choosing the
appropriate time and day to make conference.

4. CONCLUSIONS
In conclusion, the role of the consultant has completed the requirements of the question
of choosing sponsors, meeting places, attractions and places the package. In addition,
Dell has made Malaysia the function is a very popular and has been a globalization of
information technology development. Indirectly suggested in order to follow any plan

5. Recommendations
In light of this conclusion, I recommend that the conference planning organization should
choose in advance to facilitate the calculation of the budget for the conference, select the
appropriate time and date as well as a mission to make the conference have public appeal.
In addition, the organization can fill in the conference with activities such as quizzes,
lucky draws or the registration of members, in addition may provide lectures about the
development of information technology with Dell. Can also provide a souvenir for the
participants who attended as a contribution or give a discount for a product. Even if the
organization also provides a package of attractions and food and drink will give comfort
to the participants, but it depends on the financial organization for the conference.
