we will introduce the
movie with a black
screen with the credits
fading in and out. Once
credits have ended
black out will fade into
the next scene.
Shot 1

3. Shot 2 & 3
These shots will introduce the
main character, the janitor, he
will be shown
sweeping/mopping. The camera
will pan until the janitor is out of
shot the pan will reverse
showing the janitor to have
disappeared. However the
brush/mop and any other props
will remain on set
The lighting of this scene will be
natural/daylight
the credits will be of a similar
style as the first shot with one
credit fading in and fading out
The sound will consist of the
janitors brush/mop and some
dramatic music

4. Shot 4
In shot 3 the shot starts by the
ring of the school bell. The
janitor is approached by the
mean girls group. They
commence to make fun of the
janitor humiliating him in front of
the students passing by.
The janitor stays quite while
listening to them as they
continue to degrade him.
The lighting for this scene will
be a mixture of indoor lighting
and natural daylight
At the end of this shot the bell
rings and the mean girls leave
for their lesson.

5. Shot 5, 6 & 7
The fourth shot take place
within a classroom where a
lesson is taking place. Maria
who is the leader of the main
girls group puts her hand up
and asks to go to the toilet the
teacher is hostile but agrees.
Maria thanks the teacher and
apologizes and leaves.
He background noise is going to
be of students chatting.
The janitor’s shadow can be
seen through the door window
however no one notices this.
the lighting of this hoot will be
mainly natural daylight however
there is going to be some indoor
lighting as well

6. Shot 8, 9 &10
Shots 8,9 and 10 how
Maria making her way
through the school and
towards the toilet however
in shot 10 the janitor is
seen in the background as
she walks into the toilet.
Shot 8 and 9 are based
outside this going to be
during daytime however it
is slightly darker than
normal daylight and during
shot 10 it is going to be
indoors which will use
mostly indoor lighting.

7. Shot 11
In this hot as Maria walks out
of the toilet she see is greeted
by the janitor however the
janitor does not say or do
anything. Maria starts to
verbally abuse the janitor
calling him names etc. and
throwing down a used tissue
telling him to pick it up.
The tension between the two
builds up and we are going to
show this by playing dramatic
music in the background.
The lighting should be the
same as shot 10 with it being
indoor lighting.

8. Shot 12
In this shot the tension has
reached the maximum
point we will show this
using the raise of volume
and then the janitor swings
an object at Maria
knocking her out.
The music in this shot will
be continued from the
previous shot however
there is going to be a
steady rise in volume.
The lighting of his shot will
be the same In this shot as
the previous shots (10 and
11)

9. Shot 13
This shot will take around
3-4 seconds and will
display the janitor
dragging Maria’s limp
body across the frame
The music here will still
be dramatic however the
volume will be lowered
due to the release of
tension due to the attack
by the janitor
The lighting will remain
the same as the previous
shots.

10. Shot 14
This hot will likely last for
around 3-4 seconds long.
This shot will be dark t first
however the candle is lit and
black hand (which is the janitor
ticks a picture featuring Maria
then the camera follows his
hand and when he gets to
Sofia’s picture the camera stops
and focuses on her picture while
the hand continues out of shot
The music of this shot will still
remain dramatic as this shows
he is going after Sofia now
The lighting will be dark with
only the light of the candle and
maybe another source of light to
boost the exposure of the
camera.

11. Shot 15
Shot 2 is repeated
however the pan does not
reverse it just carries on
and instead fades into a
black screen.
The sound would be the
same as the firs shot with
the sound of the
brush/mop clicking
against the floor.
The lighting of this shot
will be the same as the
first shot with the use of
daylight and indoor
lighting as well.
