There are conditions that must be met for prayers to be answered according to the Bible. These include having a clear conscience through obedience to God, abiding in Christ by maintaining a close relationship with Him and obedience to His commands, praying with unselfish motives rather than for personal lusts, and examining one's heart for idols or sins that could prevent God from answering. When these conditions are met through walking with God, He promises to answer prayers according to His will and for our good.
What does it take to begin a relationship with God? Devote yourself to unselfish religious deeds? Become a better person so that God will accept you?
You may be surprised that none of those things will work. But God has made it very clear in the Bible how we can know Him.
The following principles will explain how you can personally begin a relationship with God, right now, through Jesus Christ...

Crucified With Christ - The Two Pathways Of Mind Control - 12 Apr 2015MinistryOfHeaing777
Crucified With Christ - The Two Pathways Of Mind Control . Will we allow God to give us the mind of Christ and die to self ? Or will we submit our will to the Devil through the influence of modern music, media and the occult ? The presentation explores the latest demonic push to capture our minds, plus the Hope of victory over self through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Christians are told that “without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6). Jesus Christ raised a sobering question to His disciples. He asked, “when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8).
Maybe you struggle with this question. Maybe you would like to be a child of God, but you are not sure if this is meant to be for you. Maybe you think it's no use pray- ing about it if you're not chosen in the first place. Maybe you are looking for assurance of your salvation, but you continue to doubt and fight the fear that you are deceiving yourself for eternity. Maybe you are afraid you will be lost for eternity, because you don't belong to God's elect or you are waiting for God to lead you to repentance.

I also read this, during the slide with the pictures of the holocaust...
"An elderly German man who lived through the Holocaust tells the following story:
I always considered myself a Christian. I attended a church since I was a small boy. We had heard the stories of what was happening to the Jews; but like most people in America today, we tried to distance ourselves from the reality of what was really taking place. What could anyone do to stop it?
A railroad track ran behind our small church, and each Sunday morning we would hear the whistle from a distance and then the clacking of the wheels moving over the track. We became disturbed when one Sunday we heard cries coming from the train as it passed by. We grimly realized that the train was carrying Jews.
Week after week that train whistle would blow. We would dread to hear the sound of those old wheels because we knew that the Jews would begin to cry out to us as they passed our church. It was so terribly disturbing! We could do nothing to help these poor people, yet their screams tormented us. We knew exactly at what time that whistle would blow, and we decided the only way to keep from being so disturbed by the cries was to start singing our hymns. It some of the screams reached our ears, we'd just sing a little louder until we could hear them no more.
Years have passed, and no one talks about it much any more; but I still hear that train whistle in my sleep. I can still hear them crying out for help. God forgive all of us who called ourselves Christians, yet did nothing to intervene."

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
