3. The Lord’s Prayer (Mt. 6:9-15)
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven
our debtors. And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For
if you forgive men when they sin against you,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But
if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father
will not forgive your sins.

Remember…'I will make your descendants

will give your descendants all this land I
promised them, and it will be their
inheritance forever.‘ Then the LORD
relented and did not bring on his people the
disaster he had threatened.

sin is always before me. Create in a
pure heart… Restore to me the joy of
your salvation…

in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept
bitterly.
7. Prayer of Paul (Eph. 1:15-)
I have not stopped giving thanks for you,
remembering you in my prayers. I keep
asking that the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the glorious Father, may give
you the Spirit of wisdom and
revelation, so that you may know him
better. I pray also that the eyes of your
heart may be enlightened in order that
you may know the hope…
8. Prayer of Joshua (Jos. 7:7-9)
"Ah, Sovereign LORD, why did you ever bring
this people across the Jordan to deliver us
into the hands of the Amorites to destroy
us? If only we had been content to stay on
the other side… what can I say, now that
Israel has been routed by its enemies? …
The other people of the country will hear
about this and they will surround us and
wipe out our name from the earth. What
then will you do for your own great name?"
