INTRODUCTION
• Road traffic safety refers to the methods and
measures used to prevent road users from
being killed or seriously injured. Typical road
users include: pedestrians, cyclists, motorists,
vehicle passengers, horse-riders and
passengers of on-road public transport.
• Added to various fields like education , social
awareness etc….
• Reduce the risk of road accidents and road ride
injury.
• The number of daily road ride accidents and
death of people is increasing day-by-day.
• There are various methods for creating
awareness.
NEED AND SIGNIFICANCE
• Road safety education is an educational
program about road safety.
• Helping children to be safe in traffic.
• It helps to inculcate safe behaviour in children
and young people.
• It is our responsibility to teach the children
about road safety.
OBJECTIVES
• To create an awareness about the traffic rules
and road safety measures to be taken while one
is on road.
• To provide information about various courses
of traffic accidents.
• To give suggestions to prevent road traffic
accidents.
