Computers in Homes helps provide computers and internet access to families in isolated and low-income communities in New Zealand. They began in 2000 working with the lowest decile schools. Their program provides refurbished computers, 20 hours of training, 6 months of free internet access, and ongoing technical support to help families access technology and educational resources for homework. They focus on working with Māori, Pasifika, refugee communities and aim for long-term commitment to help engage isolated families and combat lack of access.
