CU DESCRIPTOR Logistics Business Development describes the competencies required to develo

The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to interpret company mana
gement plan, determine business target, perform customer profiling, develop bus
iness development plan, review operational and financial performance and estab
lish business sustainability.
The outcome of this competency is to create opportunities for business growth a
nd ensure business sustainability by optimising resources, maintaining customer
retention and penetrating new business opportunities in accordance with compa
ny’s business target.

The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse warehouse layo
ut requirements, prepare warehouse layout plan and submit warehouse layout pl
an for approval.
The outcome of this competency is the production of warehouse layout plan that
complies with relevant authorities (such as TNB, Fire Department, Royal Custom
s,
Municipal Council) regulatory requirements, in accordance with company SOP.

The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse logistics route r
equirements, design logistics route mapping and provide routing instructions.
The outcome of this competency is the production of a routing map that ensures
high efficiency in cargo delivery.

gements to be coordinated (such as specific storage temperature and packing or
security measures)
