Short term incentives are those additions to base pay provided
to employee within the current operating year.
 A Supplement to pay check
 Separate amounts provided weekly, monthly quarterly or annually.
 Granted upon the achievement of a certain event or result.
 Pay for time not work etc.
Short term Incentives
Introduction of ABC Company ltd.
Its an Chinese company and company's management level
employees are Chinese. Its operation is successfully running over
6 years in Bangladesh and 4 years in India.
Basic business are –
 Hotel Business
3 Hotels currently running within guidance of this company.
 Hostel Business
3 Hostels currently running within guidance of this company in Bangladesh
and they also have 2 Hostels at New Delhi (India).
Short term Incentives of –
ABC Company limited.
 Short term Incentives
Consisting of pay received in the form of wages, salaries, bonuses and
commissions provided at regular and consistent intervals.
 Salaries, Bonus and Commission
 Leave Management
 Reward for best employee yearly
 Health benefits
Salaries ,Bonus and Commissions
Salaries and Bonus
Salaries are paid to employees according to company’s payment polices and bonus
are paid in terms of permanent employee got 100% of basic salary and temporary/
prohibition employees got 30% of basic salary.
Performance Appraisal and Commissions
Neways pays monthly performance appraisal to all the employees 5% to 15 % of th
eir basic salary on the basis of work/act. Commissions are available for marketing
department only.
Festival Bonus
All permanent employees get two bonuses each year. One in Eid-ul-Fitr and anothe
r during Eid- ul-Azha only for Muslims and employees of different religion gets
that bonus during their respective religious festivals
Leave Management
Annual/Earned Leave
Type of leave that is earned through working in the organization. Any leave not taken
can be encased at the time of leaving the organization.
Casual/Sick Leave
Usually Neways employees can take 7days of sick leave including non-working days.
However, the time can be extended depending on the severity of the illness.
Half day leave/Early leave
Neways also Provides half day/early leave to their employee and also paid for this
leaves.
Maternity Leave
Actually this leave given to female employees who have passed one year in the
organization for a period of 4 months.
Others Benefits
 Reward for best employee yearly
Neways reward their best employees every year on the basis of their ef
fectiveness, hard work ,dedication and attentiveness
 Health benefits
Neways International Company provide approximately 70% of all healthcare e
xpenses for permanent employees, the remaining gap is still perceived as a maj
or concern for employees and employers.
 Meals facility & Living in company’s own hostel
Neways provides 3 times meal facility to their employees to ensure their health
and work effectively. Living in Neways company ltd. own hostel for male empl
oyee are free.

Editor's Notes

  1. For Example Neways provides 15days of leave of which 10 days must be taken as consecutive leave each year. This leave is given with pay and can be extended without payment of salary. Usually it is given one time in this organization
