This document outlines six methods for forming the comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives in English. Method 1 adds "-er" for comparative and "-est" for superlative. Method 2 adds "-r" and "-st". Method 3 doubles the final letter and adds "-er" and "-est". Method 4 removes the final letter and adds "-ier" and "-iest". Method 5 uses "more" and "most". Method 6 lists irregular forms such as "better", "worse", and "most". Examples are provided to illustrate each method.
