This document discusses how to form comparatives and superlatives of adjectives in English. There are two types of adjectives: short adjectives of 1-2 syllables form the comparative using -er and superlative using -est; long adjectives of 2+ syllables form the comparative using "more" and the superlative using "most". Irregular adjectives like good, bad, little also have their own comparative and superlative forms. Examples are provided to illustrate the rules for forming adjective degrees of comparison in sentences.
