basis of a wide variety of technologies, and for the marketing of
electricity and heat;
with 9 hard coal fired and 1 refinery power plants in Germany,
and 3 hard coal fired power plants in Colombia, Turkey
and the Philippines;
with more than 200 distributed generating facilities on
the basis of renewable sources, for energy supply to
industry and heat supply;
with an installed net-capacity of 7,450 MW in Germany
and 1,720 MW abroad;
with a workforce of 5,920 worldwide;
with total sales of EUR 3,568 million and EBITDA of EUR 399 million
in 2015;
with an investment volume of around EUR 219 million in 2015.

12. Chile, O&M services for third parties: Assistance in commissioning and operation of the Santa Maria coal-
fired power plant.
India, minority shareholding / operation & maintenance: Acquisition of a 5 percent share in a coal fired
power plant, and performance of operation and maintenance of the plant.
Philippines, STEAG coal power plant: With a total installed capacity of 232 MW, the plant is located in the
north of the Philippine island of Mindanao and covers 18% or the power demand there.
Poland, distributed energy supply: Modernization of the district heating system in the city of Ilawa, by
changeover to biomass.
Turkey, STEAG coal power plant: Implementation of the largest foreign direct investment ever made by a
German company by that time in Turkey (Iskenderun). Wind projects under development.
South Africa, engineering partner: Use of engineering know-how in Medupi, currently the world's largest coal
power plant under construction.
USA, environmental services: Engineering and consulting services, e.g. for SCR and flue gas cleaning
systems for the North American energy market.
Colombia, STEAG coal power plant: The Termopaipa power plant in Paipa, with an installed capacity of 165
MW, was the first foreign power plant planned, financed and built by STEAG GmbH.
United Kingdom, recycling of power plant by-products: Contract for the recovery of by-products from more
than seven power plants, and marketing of the by-products in the construction industry.
