• To get started, purchase a PooPrints DNA Collection
Kit for every dog to get started. This cost can be
passed to dog-owning residents by increasing the
monthly pet rent or annual pet fee
• DNA Collection Kits are sent back to our laboratory
for processing. All dogs are then added to our secure
DNA World Pet Registry

8. • Dog DNA profile is created in our patented DNA World
Pet Registry database to match waste samples with the
dog responsible
• The DNA World Pet Registry is secure, confidential and
automatically updated
• Using the DNA World Pet Registry, account admins can
see waste sample results – allowing them to properly

9. • When waste is left on the property, a small sample is
taken with a Waste Sample Collection Kit and sent to
our laboratory
• Collect a nickel-sized amount of waste. Shake well,
and mail the sample in its leak-proof container to the
lab for analysis.
• The waste is run against the DNA in our World Pet
Registry to find the offending dog
• Turn around time is 5-10 days from sample receipt.
Management can log into their unique database to
match the sample with a registered community dog.
• Results are sent by email to the account admin –
containing all the scientific information on the match
