of local people, known as Community Policing Association (CPA) or
Community Policing Forum (CPF) or Community Policing Unit (CPU) or

Policing is ‘Open House Day’. It is a monthly meeting for crime prevention
and maintaining law & order, where representatives of general people of a
police station area join to discuss crime issues & to take decisions with the

relation based on mutual cooperation and partnership. The media for such
relation and bridging are:

organization through which public relation with local police and other
police units is maintained.

Partnership & Community Policing Act, 1994’ was enacted by the US

42. There are separate dedicated Community Police Officers employed only
to perform community police duties in both the United Kingdom and Nepal;
in other words, those police officers perform duties only related to
Community Policing. Never are they assigned to any other police duties or
responsibilities. There is no such dedicated community police unit. To

needs such separate and dedicated community police officers.
