- In the beginning, there was hardcopy. Six copies that you had people bless before you sent them out by mail. They arrived on the editor’s desk, they went to reviewers in separate envelopes. We may have gained a few days in terms of transmitting the materials, but we have yet to change much in terms of the interaction.
