CommonKADS provides context models to analyze how knowledge functions within an organization. It uses organization, task, and agent models to identify problems and opportunities, assess the feasibility of solutions, and plan improvements. The context modeling process involves two studies - a scoping study using the organization model, and an impacts study using task and agent models. Three context models are used: the organization model provides an overview of the organizational environment, while the task and agent models provide more focused analyses of relevant tasks and agents.
