I have worked with Crystal Cumbo-Montague since she began working as Human Resources
Manager at Artex Fine Art Services and was immediately impressed by her intelligence and
dedication to her work, as well as by her thorough knowledge of the complex and varied questions
related to Human Resources in a mid-sized and growing company.
Over the years my respect for her has only increased as I have observed the mature and
sound judgment she has used in a number of difficult situations. Crystal has not only served the long-
term goals of Artex as a company but is empathetic to the personal and career goals of its
employees. She is well trusted and liked throughout the firm. I was particularly impressed by how
she implemented Affirmative Action goals throughout the company in a way that truly served the
spirit of the law: namely to help give opportunity to people who otherwise would have more limited
